Samsung launches first 'Made in India' smartwatch, offers 'cashback' till July 31

Samsung has launched its smartwatch 'Galaxy Watch Active 2' in the Indian market in a new variant (Galaxy Watch Active 2 4G Aluminum Edition).  It is the company's first made-in-India watch and has announced that all future Galaxy smartwatches will be manufactured in India.

 The new watch has a number of features including 4G LTE, Wi-Fi and 39 workout trackers.  The watch will be available in three color options, Aqua Black, Cloud Silver and Pink Gold.  The watch will go on sale from July 11.  The watch can be purchased through official Samsung retail stores, Samsung Opera House, Samsung.com and major online portals.  There are also some special offers from the company on the purchase of this smartwatch.  It will offer 10 per cent cashback and no-cost EMI for 6 months.  This offer is valid till 31st July.

 This smartwatch has a Corning Gorilla Glass DX + for round protection panel protection with a 1.4-inch Super AMOLED display.  Also, it has features like 1.5GB RAM, 4GB internal storage, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS and GLONASS.  A 340mAh capacity battery is provided and many third party apps can be used in this watch.  It has many features like heart-rate sensor, ECG sensor, accelerometer.  The smartwatch is priced at Rs 28,490.
