 The central government on Monday night announced a decision to ban 59 Chinese apps that could threaten India's security, sovereignty and integrity.





 New Delhi: The Center on Monday night announced a ban on 59 Chinese apps that could threaten India's security, sovereignty and integrity.  With this decision, while shaking hands with China, which is eyeing the land, India has in a way blown the trumpet of war against this insidious neighbor even in the cyber world where there are no borders.

 The government has also banned the use of these apps as many of these popular apps are inbuilt in the mobile phones of Chinese companies, which are sold in billions in the market.

 The Chinese apps banned by the central government include popular apps like UC Browser, Hello App and Shareit from Tiktok.  However, netizens are asking why these two apps were not banned as PUBG Mobile and Zoom apps are not included in the list.

 Pubji is a world-famous game developed by a subsidiary of South Korean video game company Bluehole.  The connection of this game is with Tencent Games Chinese company.  Tencent had offered to launch Pubji in China.  But after a few years, Pubji has been banned in China.  So the honor of Pubji is combined.  Similarly, ZOOM App is an American company.  Zoom founder Eric Yuan was born in China.  But he is an American citizen.

 Meanwhile, tensions have risen between India and China on the Ladakh border.  Violent clashes between Indian and Chinese forces took place on June 15 on the LAC border in the Galwan Valley in Ladakh.  20 Indian soldiers were martyred.  The country has since expressed outrage against China.  In addition, there is a growing demand for a boycott of Chinese goods sold in India and Chinese mobile apps.
